We are gearing up for the fourth phase of this project. With several schools complete, construction has began in Bakchek, near the epicenter of the quakes. Central Media Centre

We are in the planning phase of constructing a media centre in central Uganda. A secure building with 12-15 computers will allow for many local
schools to enhance the education of their students as they learn to utilize the many benefits of modern technology. Please email foundation@awayinward.com for info. This is an unbelievable program.

It doesn't take much to touch the lives of children living in homes made from cardboard and cloth. We take blankets, food and in this case a cricket bat and tennis balls. The smiles on these kids' faces would melt your heart. We must have spent 2 hours hitting and chasing balls. Could've spent 2 days.

Kamal and his lovely wife are raising 34 children in an 8 room house. Six of the children are off to college this year with aspirations of Business Management and teaching degrees while they are expecting a child of their own in a few months. You should see their shoe rack.
